Brief Summary of the 2018 National Hispanic Education Summit, Ashland OH

The 2018 National Hispanic Education Summit, the 9th annual of the Faith and Education Coalition – NHCLC, in collaboration with Ashland University and additional support by Dallas Baptist University, hosted 115 attendees who represented over 50 organizations and institutes from around the nation.

Keynote speakers included Rev. Juan Rivera, Dr. Almarie E. Donaldson-Munley, and Dr. Carmen Serrata with VIPs in attendance such as Shirley Hoogstra – president of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities, Dr. Antipas Harris – Director of the Urban Renewal Project, Dr. Dee Stokes – Director of Dee Stokes Ministries, Mark Vera – Director of the Destino Movement,  and Rev. Abraham Hernandez – National Chapter Director of the NHCLC.

A special thanks goes out to Dr. Carlos Campo, president of Ashland University, and his entire staff at Ashland University who were instrumental in all things logistics, particularly Rhonda Pember and Jim Misel.
